'Wordplay' is intended as a home away from home for all those who delight in playing unusual games with words. It serves as an interactive bulletin board wherein members can post examples of word play that they have created, that have intrigued them or that they feel would be of interest to other members.

Poetry as well as prose can serve as the 'platform'. Examples of word play include but are most certainly not limited to palindromes, self-referent sentences, acrostic poems and logical paradoxes. Plays on words as objects [shorn of meaning] and as words [complete with denotations and connotations] form yet another group, as do sentences which can be understood on multiple conceptual levels.
